The winner created a trust called the Feeding Hills Trust of Quincy to collect the prize and protect their identity.
The winning scratch-off ticket was from the "Billion Dollar Extravaganza" game. Three $2 million prizes and three $1 million winning tickets remain in circulation in the $50 game.
David Spillane, an attorney representing the trust, collected the check.
The winner chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.
They bought the winning ticket at Pride Market at 6 North Westfield St. in Feeding Hills. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
